Ducati Multistrada V4, V4 S Launched in India at 22.90 Lakh: Check Engine, Power, Features and More

Ducati India has launched the updated Multistrada V4 and V4 S in the domestic market at Rs 29.90 Lakh ex-shworoom. The 2025 range brings several functional changes focused on efficiency, safety and usability while remaining fully compliant with India’s E20 fuel regulations.

Ducati Multistrada: Engine and Efficiency

The 2025 Multistrada V4 is powered by the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine that puts out 167.6 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The engine is Euro 5+ compliant and includes extended cylinder deactivation technology. Ducati claims this reduces fuel consumption by up to 6% and improves range. Maintenance intervals remain at 60,000 km for major service and 15,000 km or 24 months for oil service.

Ducati Multistrada: Handling and Ride Features

The new Automatic Lowering Device allows the motorcycle to reduce its height by up to 30 mm at speeds below 10 km/h, making it easier to manage at low speeds and while stationary. The chassis continues to use an aluminium monocoque frame with an updated swingarm pivot for better stability, especially when fully loaded.
The Multistrada V4 S is equipped with semi-active suspension using the Skyhook DSS EVO system. A new fork-mounted sensor enables predictive functions like bump detection to adjust suspension response in real time. The model also includes self-levelling suspension across rider, passenger, and luggage setups.

Ducati Multistrada: Riding Modes

The 2025 Multistrada V4 comes with five riding modes, including an updated Enduro mode and a new Wet mode. In Enduro mode, engine power is limited to 114 hp with adjustments to traction control, wheelie control, and ABS functions to support off-road riding. Wet mode has been designed for use on slippery surfaces.

Ducati Multistrada: Safety

Ducati continues to equip the Multistrada V4 S with front and rear radar systems that support Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Detection. For 2025, a Forward Collision Warning function has been added, along with Ducati Brake Light that now uses direction indicators during emergency braking. Additional updates include new engine brake control levels and an electronic combined braking system that adjusts braking distribution based on load and rider inputs.
Lighting improvements include upgraded cornering lights, an optimized headlight cluster and a Coming Home function that keeps the low beam active briefly after the ignition is switched off.

Ducati Multistrada: Design and Styling

In terms of design, the front of the Multistrada V4 has been revised with new painted panels surrounding the dual headlights, drawing inspiration from Ducati’s Panigale models. The silencer has also been redesigned with sharper lines.

Ducati Multistrada: Dashboard and Connectivity

The 6.5-inch TFT display now has an updated user interface with simplified suspension controls and more intuitive options for heated grips and seat adjustments. Ducati Connect continues to support navigation, phone calls and music playback through compatible helmet intercom systems.
