2027 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Gets New Sapphire Black Colour Globally; No Mechanical Changes

Triumph has refreshed its Tiger Sport 800 for the 2027 model year with a striking new paint scheme for global markets. While the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged, the addition of a premium Sapphire Black finish with Racing Yellow graphics gives the middleweight sport-tourer a fresh new look. The latest update also expands the list of factory accessories, making the motorcycle even more appealing for long-distance touring enthusiasts.
Key Highlights:
  • 2027 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 gets a new Sapphire Black colour with Racing Yellow graphics.
  • No mechanical changes; continues with the same 798cc inline three-cylinder engine producing 113 bhp.
  • Triumph has added matching luggage accessories and new styling options for greater personalization.
  • India launch is yet to be confirmed, but the motorcycle is expected to arrive in the future.
Although the Tiger Sport 800 is already available in several international markets, Triumph has not yet confirmed its launch in India. However, with demand for premium middleweight touring motorcycles growing steadily, the bike is expected to make its way to Indian showrooms in the future.
The biggest update for the 2027 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 is the introduction of the new Sapphire Black colour option. The fresh shade is paired with bold Racing Yellow graphics that run across the fairing, fuel tank and radiator cowl, giving the motorcycle a sportier appearance.
The fuel tank also gets a Racing Yellow Tiger Sport logo, while the new colour joins the existing Graphite and Cosmic Yellow paint options available globally.

More Touring Accessories for 2027

Triumph has also expanded its Genuine Accessories catalogue for the Tiger Sport 800. Buyers can now opt for matching Sapphire Black panniers and a top box, allowing the luggage to blend seamlessly with the motorcycle's design.
Additionally, the company is offering a Graphite belly pan with Racing Yellow accents, giving owners another option to personalise their motorcycle.

No Changes to Engine or Performance

The 2027 Tiger Sport 800 continues to be powered by the same 798cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder engine.
The motor produces 113 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm, and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. A bi-directional quickshifter continues to be offered as standard for smoother gear changes.

2027 Triumph Tiger Sport 800: Features and Safety

Triumph has retained the motorcycle's touring-focused equipment list. It comes with full-LED lighting, an upright riding position, an adjustable windscreen, and a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity.
On the safety front, the Tiger Sport 800 is equipped with cornering ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes, cruise control, and other electronic rider aids designed to enhance confidence on long rides.

2027 Triumph Tiger Sport 800: India Launch Expectations

Triumph has not officially announced plans to launch the Tiger Sport 800 in India. However, with the premium middleweight sport-touring segment gradually expanding, the motorcycle could arrive in the Indian market in the coming months. If launched, it would offer riders another capable option in the growing adventure and sport-touring motorcycle space.
