Bajaj to Roll Out 8 New Pulsar Models in Next 4 Months
Bajaj Auto Limited shared details of its product strategy during its Q3 FY26 results conference call held on January 30, 2026. The management discussed performance across domestic motorcycles, exports, electric vehicles and three-wheelers, while outlining plans for upcoming model updates.
Focus on premium motorcycle segments
Speaking during the call, Executive Director Rakesh Sharma said the growth momentum in the market has shifted towards motorcycles above 125cc, with the 150cc-plus category expanding even faster.
He noted that Bajaj Auto’s portfolio is aligned with this trend but admitted the company had faced pressure in recent quarters because of differences between its launch cycle and that of competitors.
Interventions already introduced
Sharma said the company has acted to address the situation with a series of updates across the Pulsar range, “Seven interventions between November and now in the form of upgrades and refreshes have been made in the last two months, driving growth and share supported by a positive environment,” he said.
More launches planned
“The waves of these interventions will be unrelenting here onwards with over eight more such interventions being made in the next four months,” he added. According to him, this will result in a fully refreshed portfolio covering the original Pulsar models along with the newer N and NS series.
Market share target
Sharma said the company expects these actions to help it grow ahead of the industry, particularly in the 125cc-plus and 150cc-plus segments, where it has already started to see improvement, “Therefore, we expect to outpace industry growth in the 125cc plus segment and particularly in the 150cc plus segment and continue on the path of market share acquisition, which has commenced a couple of months ago,” he said.
