Bentley has unveiled a teaser for the interior of its upcoming Torcal EV, set to debut globally on September 23, 2026. The Torcal EV is Bentley's first fully electric SUV featuring physical controls and a new Curation Engine.

Bentley has released the first teaser of the Torcal EV’s interior ahead of its scheduled global debut on September 23rd 2026. The upcoming Bentley Torcal electric SUV will be the British luxury carmaker’s first fully electric production model and will retain physical controls for several key functions, including air-conditioning and audio controls.
The teaser also reveals a new cabin personalisation system called the Curation Engine, along with details of the materials, seats and dashboard layout. The Torcal is expected to use a 113kWh battery and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup when it enters production.

The interior teaser confirms that Bentley has not followed the trend of replacing most physical controls with touchscreen interfaces. The Torcal gets physical controls on the steering wheel and centre console, while dedicated buttons are also visible on the doors.
The centre console features a curved control panel with physical switches for climate functions, blower speed and audio volume. The controls have textured surfaces and silver finishes. A rotary volume controller is also visible below the main infotainment area.
The cabin gets light-coloured upholstery with embroidered Bentley logos and the brand’s winged headrests. The door panels combine leather, fabric and carbon fibre, while the dashboard features carbon-fibre and wood trim. Other key elements include circular air vents, round speaker grilles, ambient lighting and physical controls for locking and unlocking the doors.

A rotary controller surrounding the start/stop button is another highlight of the Torcal’s interior. Bentley calls this the Curation Engine, with four selectable modes — Bentley, Comfort, Sport and Refresh.
The system is designed to change more than the vehicle’s driving characteristics. Bentley says the selected mode can also alter the cabin lighting, sound and air quality, allowing the interior environment to be configured along with the vehicle’s driving response.
The full operation of the system and the extent of its functionality will be revealed with the complete vehicle on September 23.
Bentley Torcal EV: Expected Battery Pack, Range & Charging
The Torcal will be based on Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which is also used by the Porsche Cayenne Electric.
The electric SUV is expected to use a 113kWh battery pack and support DC fast charging at up to 390kW. Bentley has previously indicated that customers consider a real-world range of around 483km to 563km suitable for a luxury electric vehicle. The Torcal is currently expected to offer around 500km of range on a full charge.
A dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain is also expected to be offered. Bentley has not yet disclosed the final power and torque figures, so it remains to be seen how the Torcal will compare with the higher-performance versions of the Porsche Cayenne Electric.
