BGauss C12 MaxR Electric Scooter Launched in India at Rs 1.45 lakh with 178 Km Claimed Range

The BGauss C12 MaxR electric scooter has been launched in India today. The BGauss C12 MaxR is based on the company’s WSA platform and uses a IP67-rated LFP battery pack. This electric scooter gets multiple riding modes, a TFT screen, connected features and multiple storage options.

The BGauss C12 MaxR electric scooter has been launched in India with an introductory ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1.45 lakh.

The BGauss C12 MaxR electric scooter houses a 3.8kWh LFP battery pack housed inside an aluminium enclosure. The battery pack has an IP67 rating. The C12 MaxR offers a company claimed range of up to 178km on a single charge.

The BGauss C12 MaxR BGauss gets the HyperZen in-wheel hyperdrive motor platform which generates a peak power output of 4.2kW. The C12 MaxR has a claimed top speed of over 75 kmph. The HyperZen setup integrates the motor, gear transmission, braking system and motor control unit. Riders get Eco, Ride and Sport modes, along with reverse mode, cruise control and regenerative braking.

The BGauss C12 MaxR electric scooter gets a front-end design centred around the company's Krystal Lamp. The lighting setup includes LED elements for the headlamp, tail lamp and indicators. The C12 MaxR is offered with a quilted seat and is available in Sparkling Wine with Champagne Gold, Terra Green with Champagne Gold, Pearl White and Satin Black colour options.

The C12 MaxR under-seat boot can accommodate two helmets, while the scooter also gets a pop-out umbrella holder, a lockable compartment for documents and a wallet, wireless charging, mobile, bottle storage, 5-inch TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, call notifications, ride and charging statistics, user profiles, document storage and multiple display themes. Other notable features include Distance-to-Empty, FallSense, side-stand and main-stand motor cut-off, service reminders, Remember My Mode and Guide My Home.

The C12 MaxR rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking duties are handled by a 220mm front disc brake, while the rear uses CBS. Suspension comprises a hydraulic telescopic fork at the front and a five-step adjustable Nitrox gas-emulsion unit at the rear.
