The biggest change is under the fairing. The CVO Road Glide moves to the 1,982cc Milwaukee-Eight 121, currently Harley’s largest production V-twin. This unit produces 115 bhp and 183 Nm, marking a clear step up from the standard Road Glide’s 1,923cc Milwaukee-Eight 117, which develops 107hp and 175Nm. The engine upgrade forms the core distinction between the two models.
Harley-Davidson has equipped the CVO with a 47mm Showa USD fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. While India-specific specifications are still awaited, the motorcycle is expected to stay close to the US-spec kerb weight of around 393kg.
Braking hardware comes from Brembo, consistent with the requirements of Harley’s larger Touring motorcycles.
The cockpit receives a 12.3-inch TFT display running the brand’s Skyline OS. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and built-in navigation. The audio package uses Rockford Fosgate Stage II speakers, placed in the fairing and the saddlebags, a setup that is part of the CVO equipment list.
The CVO Road Glide includes a full suite of electronic aids like cornering ABS, cornering traction control, electronically linked braking, vehicle hold assist, drag-torque slip control and tyre-pressure monitoring. These systems form the standard safety package on Harley’s top-spec Touring models.
In line with the Custom Vehicle Operations identity, the motorcycle is offered in a single blue colour with CVO-specific detailing.
With the price positioned significantly above the standard Road Glide, the CVO Road Glide enters the market as Harley-Davidson India’s highest-spec long-distance touring model for 2025.
