Harley-Davidson X440 T Launched in India at Rs 2.79 Lakh
Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have introduced the X440 T in India, priced at Rs 2.79 lakh, enhancing the X440 lineup. This model features ride-by-wire technology, two riding modes, switchable traction control, and a Panic Braking Alert system. Additionally, the rear design has been updated for improved comfort, increasing the kerb weight to 192kg.

Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson launched the X440 T in India priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and it sits above the existing X440 Vivid and X440 S models. With this update, the companies have also revised the overall pricing of the X440 range.

What Is New in the X440 T
The X440 T introduces ride-by-wire technology, which was not available on earlier variants. It now offers two riding modes: Road and Rain. The motorcycle also gets switchable traction control and switchable rear ABS. Another new feature is the Panic Braking Alert system, which activates faster blinking of indicators during sudden braking when deceleration crosses a set limit.
Revised Rear Design and Weight Update
Harley-Davidson has revised the rear subframe of the X440 T. The motorcycle gets a new tail section and redesigned grab handles, aimed at improving pillion comfort. The updated rear design also changes the visual appearance of the motorcycle compared to the Vivid and S variants. The kerb weight of the X440 T is 192kg, which is 1.5kg higher than the standard X440.
Engine and Mechanical Setup Remain Unchanged
The X440 T continues with the 440cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine used in the existing models. It produces 26.3hp and 38Nm of torque is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. No mechanical changes have been made to the engine.
Denim Variant Discontinued
With the launch of the X440 T, the Denim variant has been discontinued. The Denim was the only version to feature spoke wheels. As a result, all X440 variants now come with alloy wheels as standard.

The revised pricing for the full X440 lineup is as follows:
- X440 Vivid – Rs 2.34 lakh
- X440 S – Rs 2.55 lakh
- X440 T – Rs 2.79 lakh
