Hyundai Records Over 10 Percent Growth in Car Sales for September 2026

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Hyundai has shared its monthly passenger vehicle sales data for September 2026. The data shared by the automaker highlights that Hyundai India has managed to rack up its best-ever monthly sales in September this year. Last month Hyundai managed to sell a total of over fifty seven thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market.

In September 2026 Hyundai managed to sell a total of 77,916 units of passenger vehicles (including domestic sales plus exports). This sales figure marks a rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 7,569 units which further translates into a 10.75 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In September 2025 Hyundai posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 70,347 units.

Last month Hyundai managed to sell 57,166 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian domestic market. This sales figure marks an increase in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 5,619 units which further translates into a 10.90 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In September 2025 Hyundai posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 51,547 units.

In September 2026 Hyundai exported 20,750 units of passenger vehicles from India. These export numbers represent a year-on-year rise in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 1,950 units which further translates into a 10.37 percent increase in year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle exports. In September 2025 Hyundai exported 18,800 units of passenger vehicles from India.
