Hyundai Venue Gets Price Hike of up to Rs 20,000 in India

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Hyundai has revised prices of select variants of the Venue SUV before the end of current fiscal year. This recent price hike impacts both petrol and diesel iterations of the Venue. The Venue has witnessed a price hike ranging from Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 for select variants. However the overall price range of the Venue remains the same and it is available in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 15.69 lakh. The Venue is currently in its second generation in the Indian market and has undergone price revision for the second time since its introduction in November 2025.

The Venue HX5 1.2L petrol MT variant has witnessed the highest price hike. This trim is now priced at Rs 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom), up by Rs 20,000. Other variants with the same engine, including the HX2 and higher trims, continue at existing prices.

The Venue HX5 DCT and HX6 DCT 1.0L turbocharged-petrol trims have also undergone a price hike. These variants now cost Rs 9,000 more, while the HX8 DCT sees a smaller price hike of Rs 5,000. Prices of manual variants and the N Line range remain unchanged.

Hyundai has also increased the prices of the HX2, HX5, HX5 AT and HX7 1.5L diesel trims of the Venue by Rs 8,000. Higher-spec automatic variants continue without any change in pricing.

Apart from the price hike there have been no other mechanical or feature changes in the Venue. The price hike mentioned above is effective on the ex-showroom pricing. The Venue continues to be one of the best-sellers for Hyundai in the domestic market where it competes with the likes of Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra 3XO, Kia Syros, Skoda Kylaq and others.
