Kia has released the first teaser images and video of the upcoming Kia PV7, its second dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model. The new electric vehicle is set to make its global debut later this month at the IAA Transportation 2026 event in Germany.

Kia PV7: Design

The teaser images show the PV7 in different everyday environments, highlighting its potential to serve multiple purposes.

The electric vehicle features a traditional one-box silhouette with balanced proportions and a strong, upright stance. Kia has also used contrasting black elements around the hood and pillars, giving the vehicle a distinctive look.

The teaser further reveals Kia's signature front and rear lighting graphics, which are expected to become an important part of the design identity for its future PBV models.

Built On Kia's Dedicated E-GMP.S Platform

Like the PV5, the new Kia PV7 will be based on the company's dedicated E-GMP.S platform. The architecture has been developed specifically for Kia's Platform Beyond Vehicle range and is expected to support multiple body styles and applications.

The PV7 will play an important role in Kia's broader PBV strategy as the company looks to build a stronger presence in electric business mobility and commercial transportation.
