Kia has launched the Syros EV in India with a claimed range of over 500 km on a single charge. This electric SUV features two battery options, a host of tech, safety and utility features.

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Kia has today launched the Syros EV in the country with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 13.49 lakh. The Syros EV joins the likes of Carens Clavis EV, EV6 and EV9 in the company’s electric vehicle lineup in India. The Syros EV has been introduced with battery pack options, offering a claimed range of over 500 km on a single charge. Kia has also rolled out a host of ownership benefits with the Syros EV including a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and a buyback programme.
The Syros EV will go on sale through Kia dealerships across India from July 30, 2026. Alongside its feature-rich cabin and Level 2 ADAS suite, Kia says the SUV has been designed to make EV ownership more accessible through flexible financing and charging support.
Kia Syros EV: Price
Kia has introduced the Syros EV in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 13.49 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh. The Syros EV has also been introduced with the BaaS model with a price of Rs 7.99 lakh with battery subscription of Rs 3.3 per kilometre. The Syros EV is available in seven variants across two battery options, here are the detailed variant-wise prices:

Kia Syros EV: Design
The Syros EV retains the upright silhouette of its ICE sibling while incorporating EV-specific styling elements. It gets Kia's Digital Tiger Face, Ice Cube MFR LED headlamps, Star Map LED daytime running lamps and tail lamps, aerodynamic dual-tone alloy wheels, gloss black skid plates and flush-fitting Auto Streamline door handles. Kia is offering the SUV in nine exterior colour options, including exclusive shades for the X-Line variant.
Kia Syros EV: Features
On the inside, the Syros EV gets a 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display that combines a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 5-inch climate control display.
Other features include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, over-the-air software updates, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charger, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, ventilated front and rear seats, powered driver's seat, ambient lighting, rear sunshades, Smart Dashcam, connected car features, multiple USB Type-C charging ports, a 100W USB-C charger and a 16-litre frunk.
Kia Syros EV: Battery Pack, Range & Performance
The Syros EV is available with a 42 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of up to 443 km, while the larger 51.4 kWh battery pack delivers a claimed range of up to 526 km on a single charge. Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor where the 42 kWh version produces 133.15bhp and 255Nm of torque. The 51.4 kWh version produces 168.66bhp and 255Nm of torque. Kia claims the Syros EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.1 seconds.
Kia Syros EV: Charging
The Syros EV includes a 10.8 kW onboard AC charger and supports up to 100 kW DC fast charging. Using the DC fast charger the Syros EV can charge from 10 to 80 percent in a claimed time of 39 minutes. The Syros EV also gets battery conditioning, regenerative braking with i-Pedal, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), Virtual Engine Sound System (VESS) and Shift-by-Wire controls.

Kia Syros EV: Safety
On the safety front, the Syros EV comes equipped with active and passive features like Level-2 ADAS, 6-airbags, 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, front, rear and side parking sensors, ESC, hill assist, brake assist, TPMS, electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, ISOFIX mounts and more.
