Mahindra Records Over 20 Percent Growth in Car Sales for July 2026

Indian automaker Mahindra has released its passenger vehicle sales data for July 2026. The company has begun the year on a positive note posting double digit growth in monthly sales figures for July. Sharing this update the company revealed that it managed to sell a total of over fifty two thousand units of passenger vehicles last month with over fifty thousand units sold domestically. The company also posted an astonishing triple digit growth in passenger vehicle exports last month.

Last month Mahindra sold a total of 60,887 units of passenger vehicles (including domestic plus exports). This sales figure represents a rise in total year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle sales by 10,052 units which further translates into 19.77 percent growth in total year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle sales. In July 2025 Mahindra posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 50,835 units.

In July 2026 Mahindra sold 60,048 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market. This sales figure indicates a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 10,177 units which further translates into 20.40 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In July 2025 Mahindra posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 49,871 units.

Last month Mahindra exported 839 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year fall in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 125 units which further translates into a 12.96 percent decline in monthly year-on-year passenger vehicle exports. In July 2025 Mahindra exported 964 units of passenger vehicles.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. said, "In July we achieved SUV sales of 60048 units delivering growth of 20%. The total vehicle sales stood at 103860, a 26% YoY growth reflecting all-round demand traction across the portfolio."
