Mahindra XUV 7XO Pre-Bookings Open From December 15th

Indian automaker Mahindra has today announced that it will commence with pre-bookings of its upcoming SUV, the XUV 7XO from December 15th 2025. Earlier this month the company released a teaser of the XUV 7XO and revealed that it will launch this SUV in the Indian market on January 5th 2026.

The information shared by the company highlights that pre-bookings for the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO SUV will open from 12:00 hrs IST, on December 15th. Pre-bookings for the same can be made via authorized Mahindra dealerships and websites for an amount of Rs 21,000.

Sharing these details the company also shared that the XUV 7XO will be available in petrol and diesel engine options and multiple transmission options, including MT and AT.

The Mahindra XUV 7XO will be introduced as the successor of the XUV700 SUV which was introduced as a successor of the XUV500 back in 2021. The XUV 7XO is likely to be a facelift of the XUV700 but the company has changed its nomenclature, for its model name to fall in line with its new product range. We witnessed a similar change in name for the XUV 3XO which succeeded the XUV300. So this will be the second product in its lineup to undergo this change.

For the past several months there have been multiple reports circulating on the internet regarding the arrival of the new XUV700 and its test mule has also been spotted testing on several occasions in India. The teaser released earlier by the company hints at design updates to its exterior. We also expect the upcoming XUV 7XO to come with revised interiors and updated features. It can also come equipped with a triple screen setup consisting of a digital instrument cluster, digital infotainment system and digital passenger entertainment display.
