Maruti Suzuki Adds ESP To Super Carry Mini Truck

India’s biggest automaker Maruti Suzuki after dominating the passenger vehicle market is now aiming to expand its presence in the commercial vehicle segment in the country. The company managed to sell 2,710 units of its Super Carry mini truck in the Indian market last month. Now the company has come out and has announced the addition of the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) in the Super Carry.

The information shared by the company highlights that the inclusion of ESP will offer additional safety to the driver, co-driver and the cargo. The addition of ESP in the Maruti Suzuki Super Carry will offer enhanced stability and will prevent rollover of the vehicle. On the safety front the Super Carry now gets ESP, ABS, EBD, Engine Drag Control (EDC), Traction Control and more.

The Maruti Suzuki Super Carry comes equipped with a 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. In this mini truck this engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The company offers this mini truck via its retail network spread across 270 cities.
