Maruti Suzuki Victoris Price Cut: Select Variants Get Cheaper by Up to Rs 38,900 Despite Strong Sales
The price cuts apply to four out of six variants equipped with a naturally aspirated petrol engine. While hybrid and CNG models continue to offer significant discounts, the move aims to enhance the SUV's appeal in a competitive market.

Maruti Suzuki Victoris Price Cut: Select Variants Get Cheaper by Up to Rs 38,900 Despite Strong Sales
As almost all the major carmakers are hiking prices across their model range, Maruti Suzuki has taken a different approach. The carmaker has slashed the prices on select variants of its Victoris SUV by up to Rs 38,900 (ex-showroom). The Victoris SUV is available in total six variants, but the price cut is limited to four of them - ZXi (O) and ZXi+ (O) variants with the naturally aspirated petrol engine - available with both manual and automatic transmissions.
However, the LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+ trims equipped with the naturally aspirated petrol engine, front-wheel-drive layout and manual gearbox continue to be priced as before. Similarly, the regular petrol automatic variants have not seen any revision.
Key Highlights:
- Maruti Suzuki has reduced prices of select Victoris variants by up to Rs 38,900 (ex-showroom)
- Strong Hybrid variants continue to get benefits of up to Rs 90,000, while CNG versions get offers of up to Rs 80,000
- The price revision appears to be aimed at improving the appeal of specific powertrain options rather than boosting demand
Maruti Suzuki Victoris Variant-Wise Prices
| Maruti Suzuki Victoris Variant | New Price (Ex-Showroom) | Old Price (Ex-Showroom) | Price Cut |
| ZXi (O) NA Petrol MT | Rs 13.69 lakh | Rs 14.08 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
| ZXi Plus (O) NA Petrol MT | Rs 15.43 lakh | Rs 15.82 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
| ZXi (O) NA Petrol AT | Rs 15.25 lakh | Rs 15.64 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
| ZXi Plus (O) NA Petrol AT | Rs 17.38 lakh | Rs 17.77 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Powertrain Options
The SUV is available with three powertrain options: a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine, and a CNG version. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox with the mild-hybrid engine, while the strong-hybrid comes paired with an eCVT automatic transmission. Select variants are also available with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
The move stands out because the Victoris has been selling consistently well. Normally, strong demand allows manufacturers to increase prices rather than reduce them, making this decision unusual in the current market.
Hybrid and CNG Variants Continue to Get Benefits
Apart from the revised prices, Maruti Suzuki is also offering benefits on select powertrain options.
The Strong Hybrid variants are available with benefits of up to Rs 90,000, while customers opting for the CNG versions can avail offers worth up to Rs 80,000.
The mid-size SUV segment has become increasingly competitive with several new models entering the market. By revising prices and continuing attractive offers, Maruti Suzuki is aiming to keep the Victoris competitive while offering better value to customers.
At a time when vehicle prices continue to rise across the industry, the Victoris' latest price revision is a rare move that makes an already popular SUV even more attractive for prospective buyers.
