Maserati GT2 Stradale: Engine and Performance
Powering the GT2 Stradale is a 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine that produces 631 bhp and 729 Nm of torque. This is 9.8 bhp more than the track-only GT2. The engine is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, which sends power to the rear wheels.
Maserati claims the supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds, while its top speed stands at 324 kmph. It also gets four driving modes: Corsa, Sport, GT and Wet, allowing drivers to adjust the car's performance according to road and driving conditions.
Maserati GT2 Stradale: Design and Aerodynamics
The GT2 Stradale retains the aggressive styling of its racing sibling but gets a more toned-down appearance without the prominent racing graphics. It features a redesigned front bumper designed to improve airflow and cooling. Side vents near the C-pillar further distinguish it from the MC20.
Weight reduction and aerodynamics are key parts of the supercar's development. Maserati has used several carbon-fibre components, helping the GT2 Stradale weigh 60 kg less than the MC20.
The aerodynamic package includes a racing diffuser, carbon-fibre body components and a large rear wing with three adjustment positions. According to Maserati, these changes help the car generate up to 500 kg of downforce.
Maserati GT2 Stradale: Interior and Features
Inside, the GT2 Stradale shares its overall dashboard layout with the Maserati MC20. It gets a rectangular infotainment touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster.
The cabin features Alcantara upholstery, while lightweight carbon-fibre racing seats are available in two sizes. These seats are paired with four-point seatbelts. Other highlights include a sports steering wheel and carbon-fibre paddle shifters.
Maserati GT2 Stradale: Other Models Launched Alongside
The GT2 Stradale has arrived in India alongside the updated Maserati Grecale, GranTurismo and GranCabrio. With its limited production run, powerful V6 engine and track-focused aerodynamic package, the GT2 Stradale joins the brand's India portfolio as its latest road-legal performance model.
