Mini has introduced the Cooper S JCW GP Inspired Edition in India, priced at Rs 58.90 lakh. This special edition car is limited to only 30 units for India.

Mini has launched the new Cooper S JCW GP Inspired Edition in India with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 58.90 lakh. Inspired by the globally sold Mini GP models, this special edition hot hatchback will be limited to just 30 units for the Indian market. This special edition car is based on the latest version of the Cooper S and brings a combination of JCW styling elements, cosmetic enhancements and the brand’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.

Powering the Cooper S JCW GP Inspired Edition is a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine producing 201.20bhp and 300Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving the front wheels. According to Mini, this hot hatch can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 242 kmph.

The Mini Cooper S JCW GP Inspired Edition comes finished in a Legend Grey paint shade with a contrasting Chili Red roof and mirror caps. Mini has also added GP-inspired bonnet stripes and side graphics finished in red and grey.

As part of the visual package, the hatchback receives multiple John Cooper Works design elements including a front spoiler extension, side skirts, rear diffuser, roof spoiler and front and rear winglets. The front bumper also gets red accents along with a tow strap.

Mini has equipped the hatchback with 17-inch JCW Sprint Spoke alloy wheels featuring Chili Red hub caps. Another highlight is the ‘1 of 30’ badging placed on the C-pillar, signifying its limited allocation for India.

On the inside, the cabin features several bespoke additions over the standard Cooper S. The hatchback gets illuminated GP-branded door sills, special floor mats with ‘1 of 30’ branding, JCW door lock pins and revised dashboard trim.

The Cooper S JCW GP Inspired Edition also comes with JCW sport seats finished in a Vescin and cord upholstery combination, along with a JCW steering wheel featuring paddle shifters.

Feature highlights include a 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman Kardon audio system, panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, connected car technology and a head-up display. Mini has also offered selectable DRL signatures with welcome and goodbye lighting animations.

On the safety front, the special edition hatchback comes equipped with Level-1 ADAS, front airbags, side curtain airbags, corner brake control, ABS, dynamic stability control, TPMS, rear camera and more.
