Oben Rorr Evo Electric Motorcycle Launched in India at Rs 99,999; Gets up to 180 Km Range

Indian EV startup Oben Electric has today launched the Rorr Evo electric motorcycle in India with an introductory ex-showroom price tag of Rs 99,999. The introductory pricing is applicable only for the first 10,000 customers. Post this initial allocation, the price of the Rorr Evo will move to Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the same are open for an amount of Rs 777 and deliveries are scheduled to commence from June 2026.

The Oben Rorr Evo enters the market as a new offering in the commuter-focused electric motorcycle segment, with a combination of range, charging capability, and connected features. The Rorr Evo is available in Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White colour options.

The Oben Rorr Evo generates 12bhp, paired with a single-stage chain drive. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in a claimed time of 3 seconds. It has a top speed of 110kmph. Torque output is stated at 250Nm at the wheel.

The Oben Rorr Evo houses a 3.4kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack and it offers a claimed range of up to 180km on a single charge. The Rorr Evo supports fast charging using which it can charge from 0 to 80 percent in a company claimed time of 90 minutes. Oben Electric is offering an eight-year battery warranty.

The Rorr Evo is equipped with telescopic front forks and a seven-step adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends. Ground clearance is rated at 200mm, while kerb weight stands at 140kg. The seat height is 780mm, and the motorcycle gets a 680mm long seat. Storage capacity is split between under-seat and tank-mounted compartments, offering a combined volume of up to 10 litres.

The Oben Rorr Evo comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT display with navigation, ride statistics, call and message alerts, and music controls. Smartphone integration enables functions such as live tracking, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics and immobilisation.

On the safety front the Rorr Evo comes equipped with fall detection with emergency alerts, driver alert system and unified brake assist.

Oben has introduced SmartIQ with the Rorr Evo, an AI-based system that studies riding patterns and adjusts power delivery. The company states this can improve efficiency and extend range by up to 15 per cent, depending on usage. The motorcycle also offers multiple ride modes, including Eco and performance-oriented settings, along with reverse mode for low-speed manoeuvring.
