Design and chassis
The Flying Flea S6 uses a dedicated electric motorcycle chassis. The design includes a long and flat seat, allowing flexibility for both seated riding and standing over uneven surfaces.
Suspension duties are handled by upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock. The motorcycle runs a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheel combination, paired with dual-purpose tyres. This setup suggests a focus on mixed city and mild trail usage. Royal Enfield has also displayed a Carbon variant featuring carbon fibre components. The company has not confirmed whether this version will be produced.
Battery housing and cooling
The S6 features a magnesium battery casing with fin-like structures on the surface. These fins are intended to support heat management while keeping overall weight in check. The casing design combines modern EV elements with styling references seen on older Royal Enfield models. Details related to battery capacity, motor output and range have not been disclosed so far.
Electronics and connectivity
The electronics system for the Flying Flea S6 has been developed across teams in India and the UK. The motorcycle uses an in-house operating system powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor.
Connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. A circular touchscreen display is used instead of a rectangular unit, keeping the layout similar to other Royal Enfield models. The screen shows vehicle data, navigation, ride modes and connected features.
Rider aids and safety systems
The Flying Flea S6 is equipped with multiple electronic rider aids. These include integrated navigation, selectable ride modes and traction control. The motorcycle also gets lean-sensitive dual-channel ABS, which can be fully switched off for off-road riding. An off-road mode is included to manage braking and torque delivery on loose surfaces.
Expected launch timeline
Royal Enfield has not announced a confirmed launch schedule. However, based on current information, the Flying Flea S6 is expected to be launched in India in the last quarter of 2026. Battery and motor specifications are likely to be revealed closer to the launch.
