Royal Enfield September Sales Rise 8 Percent to 1.34 Lakh Motorcycles

In September 2026, Royal Enfield achieved record sales of 1,33,958 motorcycles, marking an 8% increase from the previous year. Domestic sales reached 1,21,326 units, reflecting a 7% growth, while exports rose by 17% to 12,632 units.

Royal Enfield September Sales Rise 8 to 1.34 Lakh Motorcycles

Royal Enfield reported monthly sales of 1,33,958 motorcycles in September 2026, up 8% from 1,24,328 units sold in the same month last year. This was the company’s highest monthly sales figure so far and marked the first time its monthly volumes crossed the 1.3 lakh-unit mark.

Royal Enfield Domestic Sales Cross 1.2 Lakh Units

Royal Enfield sold 1,21,326 motorcycles in India in September 2026, compared with 1,13,573 units during the same month last year. This translates into around 7% year-on-year growth.
Exports also increased during the month. The company shipped 12,632 motorcycles overseas, compared with 10,755 units in September 2025, marking around 17% growth.

Himalayan 440 Marks a Decade of the Himalayan

Royal Enfield also marked 10 years of the Himalayan with the introduction of the new Himalayan 440. The adventure motorcycle gets a 443cc long-stroke engine, a six-speed gearbox and mechanical updates aimed at improving durability and touring ability. The motorcycle was unveiled at the Himalayan Basecamp in Ladakh and is offered in Sela Black, Mustang Brown and Nelong White.
Royal Enfield's electric mobility brand Flying Flea has also expanded into Europe and the UK with the C6 electric motorcycle. The model is being introduced in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London, with deliveries scheduled to begin in October 2026.
The international expansion gives Royal Enfield a new entry point into the electric motorcycle market while its conventional range continues to drive the bulk of its sales.
