The Kushaq facelift features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and new interior trim finishes. Additionally, it offers a panoramic sunroof, rear seat massage function, and ventilated front seats, enhancing overall comfort and technology. These updates aim to elevate the driving experience and align with modern expectations.
The Kushaq facelift features a wider grille with chrome accents, slimmer LED headlamps, and a redesigned rear with a full-width LED light bar. The front bumper has also been reworked for a more aggressive look. While the side profile remains similar, new alloy wheel designs add a fresh touch, reflecting a modernized aesthetic.
The Kushaq facelift offers advanced safety features such as six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-hold assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. However, it notably lacks advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and a 360-degree camera, which some competitors offer. This safety suite aims to enhance occupant protection and driving confidence.
The Kushaq facelift continues with two engine options: a 1.0L three-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 114bhp and a 1.5L four-cylinder TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 147.5bhp. The 1.0L engine is available with a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5L engine is paired exclusively with a 7-speed DSG.
The Kushaq facelift is anticipated to strengthen Skoda's position in the compact SUV segment, competing against popular models like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. Given its blend of updated features, safety, and competitive pricing, it aims to attract a broader customer base and enhance Skoda's sales performance in India.
