Indian automaker, Tata Motors has announced special festive season offers across its product portfolio in India. The company stated that the festive benefits are being offered alongside the price reductions that came into effect after the GST 2.0 revision on September 22, 2025. The GST 2.0 reform represents a significant shift in India’s automobile taxation framework. By reducing rates on small petrol and diesel cars to 18%, the government has aimed to make compact vehicles more affordable. At the same time, mid-size and larger vehicles now fall under a uniform 40% slab, replacing the multiple higher rates applied earlier.
Petrol and petrol-hybrid cars up to 1200cc and 4000mm, as well as diesel and diesel-hybrid cars up to 1500cc and 4000mm, will now fall under the 18% slab instead of 28%. Mid-size and large cars remain taxed at 40%.
Apart from the GST-linked price cuts, Tata Motors has also announced additional benefits on selected models, ranging from Rs 30,000 on Tata Tigor to Rs 65,000 on Tata Altroz.

When combined, the GST-linked price cuts and festive benefits together amount to significant overall savings. The maximum reduction is on the Tata Nexon, at up to Rs 2 lakh, while the Tata Curvv receives savings of up to Rs 1.07 lakh.
