Aprilia has announced that buyers of its 457cc motorcycles can avoid additional costs if they purchase before the GST change. The company states that savings could be as high as Rs 58,000 on the RS 457 and Rs 60,000 on the Tuono 457. These figures appear to reflect the price increase expected once GST 2.0 comes into force rather than direct discounts.

From September 22, 2025, GST on motorcycles above 350cc will rise from 31% (28% GST plus 3% cess) to 40%.
Expected Price Hike Due to GST 2.0
Aprilia RS 457 which is currently priced at Rs 4.23 lakh (ex-showroom), is expected to see a price hike of around Rs 29,000.Aprilia Tuono 457 which is priced at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-shoroom) at present, is likely to see a price hike of around Rs 27,000.
These estimates are based on the revised GST applied to ex-showroom prices.
Finance Schemes Before Deadline
Dealers are giving short-term finance options that will be available only until September 21, 2025. These include loans covering the full ex-showroom price, interest rates starting from 7.99 percent, and repayment periods of up to 5 years. The exact offers may differ from one dealer to another.
Broader Effect on Motorcycles
The new GST rates will affect not just Aprilia but most motorcycles in the mid-capacity and premium categories. Buyers across brands may face similar cost increases, making early purchase the only way to lock in lower prices before September 22.
