TVS Motor has showcased an updated version of its popular electric scooter, the iQube , at EICMA 2026. The key highlight is the addition of Android Auto connectivity, which will allow riders to access smartphone features such as navigation, music and call notifications through the scooter's touchscreen display. With this update, the TVS iQube will become the second electric scooter in the company's lineup to offer Android Auto, after the TVS X. The feature is expected to make everyday functions such as navigation, music control and call notifications more convenient for riders.

The top-spec TVS iQube comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display. With Android Auto integration, riders will be able to access compatible smartphone applications through the scooter's display.

The feature is expected to support functions such as navigation, music playback and call and SMS notifications. It will allow users to access supported apps directly instead of depending entirely on TVS' proprietary connectivity application.

Android Auto will also make smartphone connectivity simpler, as users can connect their Android devices to the scooter without relying on additional third-party applications.

TVS Motor has not announced Apple CarPlay support for the iQube yet. This means iPhone users may have to continue relying on the company's TVS Connect application for smartphone-related functions. The company has also not confirmed whether Android Auto connectivity will be wireless or require a wired connection. Details about its rollout are also awaited.

It remains unclear whether the feature will be available only on newly purchased iQube scooters or whether existing owners will receive it through a software update. More details about the feature, including its availability across the iQube range, are expected to emerge in the coming months.
