TVS Orbiter Electric Scooter India Launch On August 28: Here’s What To Expect

Indian automaker TVS has officially revealed that it is all set to launch a new electric scooter in India on August 28th 2025. It is quite likely that this upcoming electric scooter will be called the Orbiter, denoted from the letter ‘O’ in the background of the launch invite. It is being anticipated that this could be the new entry level electric scooter from the company as its current EV lineup includes - iQube and X. Following this launch it will become the company’s third electric scooter in the Indian market.

The upcoming TVS electric scooter is expected to be introduced in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 80,000 to 1.09 lakh. It can be slotted below or alongside the iQube but below the TVS X in the company’s product portfolio.

Likely to be named Orbiter, this electric scooter is expected to be offered with multiple battery pack options ranging from - 2.2 kWh to 5.3 kWh. It can return an EV range of between 90 to 150 km on a single charge.

It is also expected to come loaded with advanced safety and utility features including - water and dust resistant battery pack and motor, connectivity features, turn by turn navigation, central touchscreen system, ABS, EBD, regenerative braking, LED DRLs, LED headlight and much more.

The upcoming TVS Orbiter electric scooter is expected to go up against the likes of Bajaj Chetak, Honda QC1, Ather Rizta S, OLA S1 X and others in the domestic market.
