Indian automaker Bajaj is set to unveil the updated Classic Pulsar range on August 12th 2026. Leading up to the launch the next-generation Pulsar 125 has been leaked online, images of the motorcycle shared online on social media reveal a comprehensive overhaul, including a new chassis, rear monoshock suspension, updated styling, a colour LCD instrument cluster and what appears to be a revised 125cc engine.
The latest leak suggests the Pulsar 125 is set to receive one of its biggest updates since introduction. While it continues to retain the familiar Pulsar identity, Bajaj has introduced several mechanical and feature upgrades to keep the motorcycle competitive in India's 125cc commuter segment.

Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 125: What to Expect?

According to the images that have surfaced online the updated Pulsar 125 adopts a sharper design while retaining the muscular proportions associated with the Pulsar range. At the front, it features a redesigned LED headlamp with signature position lights. The sculpted fuel tank has been retained but now gets sharper extensions and newly designed side panels.
Towards the rear, the motorcycle gets a slimmer tail section with revised bodywork and LED tail lamps. The leaked model continues to use halogen turn indicators. It was also spotted with a single-piece seat, although Bajaj could introduce additional variants after launch.
One of the biggest changes comes underneath the bodywork. The upcoming Pulsar 125 appears to use an all-new frame, replacing the double-cradle chassis of the outgoing model. Bajaj has also replaced the twin rear shock absorbers with a monoshock setup, marking a significant change for the Classic Pulsar platform.
The motorcycle continues to use telescopic front forks and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with MRF tubeless tyres. Braking duties are handled by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
While Bajaj Auto is yet to confirm technical specifications, the leaked motorcycle appears to feature a revised engine. The redesigned crankcase, new engine casings and altered exhaust routing indicate mechanical updates over the existing model. Whether Bajaj has revised the performance figures or focused on improved refinement and fuel efficiency will be revealed at launch.
The updated Pulsar 125 is expected to get a colour LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, replacing the older console. The motorcycle also features an LED headlamp and LED tail lamp, while the overall equipment list is likely to remain focused on everyday usability.

Upcoming Bajaj Pulsar 125: Expected Price

Bajaj is expected to announce the prices of the new Pulsar 125 on August 12th. The current model is priced from Rs 92,341 (ex-showroom) and the updated version is expected to command a slight premium and can start from Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom).
