The newest model is the Discovery, priced between ₹97 lakh and ₹1.43 crore. The current lineup includes the Defender, Discovery, Discovery Sport, Range Rover, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover Velar. Land Rover, a British luxury SUV manufacturer, has been part of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) since 2008, under Tata Motors. JLR has been producing Land Rover vehicles in India since 2011, with a plant near Pune. Land Rovers are popular in India, especially among Bollywood stars. The Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, and Discovery Sport are among the brand's top-selling models globally. Land Rover has announced that all future models will be based on the EMA (Electrified Modular Architecture) or MLA (Modular Longitudinal Architecture) platforms, with a focus on electrification.
