Royal Enfield Himalayan EV, Scrambler EV Revealed: To Join Flying Flea Lineup

Royal Enfield Himalayan Electric 2.0

The Royal Enfield Himalayan EV was originally revealed at the 2023 edition of the EICMA. The electric adventure touring motorcycle has now been revealed in an updated avatar at the ongoing EICMA 2024 as a part of Royal Enfield's Flying Flea range of upcoming EVs. The design is inspired by the Himalayan 450, including the round LED headlight, windshield and tail section.

Sid Lal, Managing Director, Royal Enfield revealed that the motorcycle has been thoroughly updated since last time around. It gets a new battery as well as a new motor, however, the specs are yet to be revealed. The company also revealed that it continues to work on the Himalayan EV and there will be at least two more iterations before it hits the market, hinting that the launch could still be at least a few years away.

Royal Enfield Scrambler EV

Revealed for the first time, the Scrambler EV will come to be known as Flying Flea S6 (FF-S6). The Scrambler EV is based on the C6 electric platform, and gets upside-down front forks, spoke wheels, a single seat setup, a high mounted front mudguard, along with a retro, round headlamp. Still in concept form, the Scrambler EV is expected to be launched after the FF-C6.

Specs for either of the three Flying Flea electric motorcycles are yet to be revealed. What we do know is that they will be equipped with a round TFT digital instrument cluster, as seen on the latest RE models such as Bear 650 and Himalayan 450.
