Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Icon Launch Date Announced: Check Details

Royal Enfield has confirmed the launch date for its upcoming limited edition motorcycle the Shotgun 650 X ICON, set for February 12, 2025. This limited edition model was recently showcased at the EICMA 2024 event. The production of this exclusive piece is limited to 100 units globally. This bike is being made in collaboration with ICON One Thousand, a custom motorcycle company.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 X ICON will be produced in a limited quantity of only 100 units worldwide. The motorcycle features a unique three-tone color scheme, race-inspired graphics and special components, including gold rims, blue shock springs, and a red seat. Each unit will also include an exclusive Slabtown Intercept RE jacket, made from a mix of suede and textile, enhancing its appeal to collectors.

Apart from cosmetic changes, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 X ICON is likely to remain mechanically unchanged from the standard version. It will be powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine that puts out 46.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm mated a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle features Showa upside-down forks at the front and twin springs at the rear. The wheel combination is 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear, with a 320 mm disc brake at the front and a 300 mm rotor at the back.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 X ICON: Existing Model Overview

Royal Enfield launched the standard Shotgun 650 in January 2024, with prices ranging from Rs. 3.59 lakh to Rs. 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in three variants: Custom Shed, Custom Pro, and Custom Special.

The standard Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is positioned between the Super Meteor 650 and the Continental GT 650. It features a unique bobber design with a flatter handlebar and center-set footpegs for a commanding riding position. The bike includes a full-LED lighting system, Tripper navigation and a USB charging port, along with a Wingman app that provides various information about the motorcycle.
