Hyundai Creta Regains The Crown Of 'Best Selling Car In India', Tops Monthly Car Sales For March 2025

South Korean automaker Hyundai has today announced that its popular SUV, Creta has once again emerged as the best selling car in India in the monthly car sales chart.

In March 2025 Hyundai managed to sell about 18,059 units of the Creta SUV in the Indian market. With this monthly sales feat the Creta has become the best selling car in the country last month. The Creta has held the crown of best selling car in India on several occasions in the past and now it has once again reclaimed its pole position in the monthly car sales chart.

The information shared by Hyundai states that the Creta performed really well in the Indian market in the last financial year and was among the top three best selling cars in the country for the same period. In FY 2024-25 Hyundai sold a total of 1,94,872 units of Creta in the Indian market, this also marks 20 percent year-on-year growth in FY sales. The company highlighted that this is the best ever sales achieved by the Creta in the domestic market in a financial year, since its introduction back in 2015. In this period the Creta also crossed a new sales landmark of 12 lakh units.
