Hyundai Exter Gets New EX CNG Variant With 6-Airbags And More

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched a new EX variant of the Exter Hy-CNG Duo. The move is part of the company’s strategy to offer more fuel-efficient mobility options in the Indian market. The EX variant is priced at Rs 7,50,700 (ex-showroom).

The Hyudai Exter Hy-CNG Duo operates on a bi-fuel setup, allowing the use of both petrol and CNG. The dual-cylinder layout is designed to maximise boot space. The variant also features a digital instrument cluster with a 10.67 cm colour TFT screen and six airbags as standard.

This new variant of the Exter Hy-CNG Duo is now available across Hyundai dealerships in India. The price for the 1.2L Kappa petrol engine with Hy-CNG Duo EX variant is set at Rs 7,50,700 (ex-showroom).

In March 2025 Hyundai managed to sell about 18,059 units of the Creta SUV in the Indian market. With this monthly sales feat the Creta has become the best selling car in the country last month.

In FY 2024-25 Hyundai sold a total of 1,94,872 units of Creta in the Indian market, this also marks 20 percent year-on-year growth in FY sales.
