Hyundai Launches Two New Variants For Its Micro SUV, Exter
Hyundai has expanded its Exter lineup with new S Smart and SX Smart variants, offering more tech and safety features for young Indian buyers. The S Smart, starting at ₹ 7.69 lakh, includes a sunroof and TPMS. The SX Smart, from ₹ 8.16 lakh, adds a smart key and projector headlamps. ISOFIX is now standard across all Exter models, available in petrol and Hy-CNG with manual and AMT options.
Hyundai Launches Two New Variants For Its Micro SUV, Exter
South Korean automaker, Hyundai on Tuesday announced the addition of two new variants – S Smart and SX Smart to its entry-level SUV, Hyundai Exter. The strategic expansion of the Hyundai Exter lineup aims to offer customers a wider choice of advanced features.
Commenting on the introduction of the new variants, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India, said, “At HMIL, we are committed to democratising technology and making meaningful innovations accessible to a wider set of customers. The introduction of S Smart and SX Smart variants on the Hyundai Exter is a reflection of this customer centric philosophy. With these new variants, we are offering a more compelling value proposition to young and tech-savvy Indian buyers.”
The new variants of the Hyundai Exter – S Smart and SX Smart, offer safety and convenience features, complemented by spacious interiors. Additionally, HMIL has standardised Child seat anchor - ISOFIX for Exter, ensuring easy child seat installation. The new variants are available in both manual and AMT transmissions, in petrol and Hy-CNG Duo powertrains.
The Hyundai Exter S Smart variant has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 7.69 lakh. The newly launched S Smart variant includes a smart electric sunroof, LED taillamp, Tyre pressure monitoring system, 15-inch wheels, rear AC vents along with LED DRLs. The Hyundai Exter SX Smart variant on the other hand features a smart key with push button start, smart electric sunroof, 15-inch wheels, a sharkfin antenna, tyre pressure monitoring system and projector headlamps. The SX Smart variant of the Hyundai Exter has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 8.16 lakh.
