Skoda Auto India Launches Second-Gen 4x4 Kodiaq : Check Price, Engine, Specs And More
Skoda Auto India has introduced the second-generation Kodiaq 4x4 SUV in the country. The model is available in two variants, Sportline and Selection L&K, with prices starting at Rs 46.89 lakh. Bookings are now open, and deliveries will begin on May 2, 2025.

Skoda Auto India launches the second-generation Kodiaq SUV. This model continues the brand’s focus on its larger, seven-seat vehicle offerings in India, following the recent debut of its smaller SUV, the Kylaq. The new Kodiaq will be assembled at Skoda's facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar. The Kodiaq was first introduced in India in 2017 as a seven-seat 4x4.
Skoda Kodiaq: Powertrain and Performance
The second gen Kodiaq is powered by a 2.0L TSI petrol engine that produces 201 bhp and 320Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission and comes with 4x4 as standard. Skoda claims a fuel efficiency of 14.86 kmpl (ARAI certified). The SUV is built on the MQB37 platform and is available in two trims: Sportline and Selection L&K.
Skoda Kodiaq: Dimensions and Capacity
The new Kodiaq is 59mm longer than its previous version. Key dimensions include:
- Length: 4,758mm
- Width: 1,864mm
- Height: 1,679mm
- Wheelbase: 2,791mm
- Ground clearance (laden): 155mm
It offers a luggage capacity of:
- 281 litres with all seats up
- 786 litres with the third row folded
- 1,976 litres with both second and third rows down
Skoda Kodiaq: Interior and Features
On the inside, both trims offer seven seats with different interior themes. The Sportline comes with an all-black setup, while the L&K trim uses Cognac leather upholstery. Standard equipment includes a 32.77-cm infotainment screen, Smart Dials for vehicle functions, and a gear-selector mounted behind the steering wheel. Rear passengers get a tablet holder. The SUV also includes nine airbags, a panoramic sunroof and a 725W Canton sound system with 13 speakers.
Skoda Kodiaq: Exterior Design and Colours
The second-gen Kodiaq has new LED headlamps with a welcome effect and a front grille with a horizontal light strip. A red strip connects the rear tail lamps. Colour options include Moon White, Magic Black, Graphite Grey, Velvet Red, Race Blue, Bronx Gold (L&K only) and Steel Grey (Sportline only).
Skoda Kodiaq: Pricing and Ownership
Prices begin at Rs 46.89 lakh for the Sportline and Rs 48.69 lakh for the L&K trim (ex-showroom). Bookings are now open, and deliveries will begin on May 2, 2025. Skoda is offering a 5-year/125,000 km warranty and 10 years of road-side assistance. The first-year service under Skoda Supercare is included at no extra cost.
