Volkswagen Tiguan R Line India-Spec Details Revealed, Bookings Open

Volkswagen India has opened bookings for the Tiguan R Line ahead of its launch on April 14. Bookings are now open on Volkswagen India's website and at dealerships. The SUV will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) and will be available in six monotone colour options.

The VW Tiguan R Line in India is powered by a 2.0L, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. It generates 204hp and 320Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and power is distributed to all four wheels through Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system. According to the company, the SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 7.1 seconds and has a top speed of 229kph.

The India-spec Tiguan R Line will be available in six monotone colours:

On the Inside, the Tiguan R Line gets a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which runs on Volkswagen’s MIB4 operating system with over-the-air update capability. The cabin also includes sports seats, ambient lighting, a drive mode selector and a dual-zone climate control system.
