Bajaj Chetak EV Bags Over 20,000 Bookings In July 2024
Bajaj Auto's electric scooter Chetak has garnered 20,000 bookings following the launch of the new 2901 variant, featuring a 123 km range, digital console, and Bluetooth connectivity. The expansion of Bajaj's dealership network into Tier 2 towns has been instrumental in this success, with the Chetak now available at 2,000 company sales outlets. The model offers a Lifetime Tec Pac upgrade with various features and is available in five color schemes. The Chetak portfolio now comprises three variants, with prices ranging from Rs 95,998 to Rs 1,47,243.

Bajaj Chetak EV Bags Over 20,000 Bookings In July 2024
Indian automaker Bajaj Auto has today announced that its legacy scooter Chetak electric scooter has bagged over 20,000 bookings in July 2024. This growth is attributed to the launch of the new Chetak 2901 variant, priced at Rs 95,998 (ex-showroom). The model offers a range of 123 km on a single charge and includes features like a Digital Console, Alloy Wheels and Bluetooth connectivity.
The company has attributed this growth of Chetak to the expansion of Bajaj's dealership network into Tier 2 towns which has played a crucial role in this recent increase in bookings. According to the information shared by the company, the Chetak EV has now expanded its footprint to about 2,000 company sales outlets across the country. This expansion has helped the Chetak EV to target new potential markets and customers in the country.
Sharing this update the company also stated that the Chetak 2901 can be upgraded with the Lifetime Tec Pac, which includes features like Hill Hold, Reverse, Sport and Economy modes. It also gets Call and Music Control, ‘Follow Me Home’ lights and mobile application connectivity via Bluetooth.
Bajaj is offering the Chetak 2901 in five color schemes: Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow and Azure Blue. With the addition of this model, the Chetak portfolio now includes three variants - Chetak 2901, Chetak Urbane and Chetak Premium. The Tech Pac trims are available for all three variants of the Chetak EV.
The Chetak 2901 is priced from Rs 95,998, the Chetak Urbane is priced from Rs 1,23,319 and the Chetak Premium is priced from Rs 1,47,243 (all prices are ex-shworoom).
