BYD Sealion 7 Crosses 1,000 Bookings In India Within A Month
BYD India has received over 1,000 bookings for the Sealion 7 within a month of its debut at Auto Expo 2025. Offered in two variants, the electric SUV features an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery, a range of up to 567 km, advanced safety features and a tech-loaded interior.

BYD India has reported 1,000 bookings for the Sealion 7 within one month. The company officially debuted the Sealion 7 and opened bookings at Auto Expo 2025 and announced its prices on February 17.
BYD Sealion 7: Variants and Powertrain
The BYD Sealion 7 will be available in two variants:
- Premium Variant (RWD): 308 bhp, 380 Nm torque, and a driving range of 567 km.
- Performance Variant (AWD): 523 bhp, 690 Nm torque, and a range of 542 km.
BYD Sealion 7: Interior and Features
On the Inside, Sealion 7 comes equipped with a 15.6 inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25 inch digital driver’s display. Other additional features are:
- Panoramic sunroof
- Head-up display (HUD)
- 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system
- Wireless phone charging
- Heated and ventilated front seats with lumbar support
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality
BYD Sealion 7: Safety and Assistance Features
In terms of safety, the BYD Sealion 7 comes with 11 airbags, 360 degree camera, Adaptive cruise control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Rear collision warning, Front and rear parking sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and more.
BYD Sealion 7: Design
The BYD Sealion 7 measures 4,830mm in length, 1,925mm in width and 1,620mm in height. It has a wheelbase spanning 2,930mm. It sports the company’s Ocean X design philosophy with a coupe-style roofline. It sports 19-inch alloys and also gets optional 20-inch alloy wheels.
