Honda Activa Electric Reveal On November 27: Expected Specs, Range, Price

It is yet to be confirmed if the electric scooter will be called Activa Electric or Activa EV, or make use of a new name altogether. Honda's book-your-date invite to us teases the upcoming electric scooter with "Watts Ahead", without going into any other details. That said, Honda's 2W division recently revealed a new electric scooter at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy called CUV e, and the India-bound e-scooter could be based on it.

The CUV e gets a fairly conventional design, with the headlamp being positioned on the front apron, integrated with a DRL. It gets a rear storage rack, a front disc brake, alloy wheels along with a 7-inch TFT screen with connected-tech. Other features include full LED lighting, a USB-C socket, Reverse Assist and Smart Key operation. It gets a single electric motor producing 8bhp, offering a top speed of 80kph. As per Honda's internal tests, the CUV e should offer a range of around 70km on a single charge.

Honda has equipped the CUV e with dual 1.3kWh battery packs that can be removed and charged at home. For reference, all of the major electric scooters that Honda's upcoming EV will rival get a fixed battery setup. The CUV e's batteries can be fully charged in 6 hours each, while a 0-75% state of charge can be achieved in 3 hours. While there is no official word from Honda about the electric scooter's price yet, we expect to be launched at over the Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
