Jaguar Type 00 Concept Makes Public Debut In France During Paris Fashion Week

The Jaguar Type 00 Concept car was unveiled last year in December and it made global headlines as the brand took the wraps off its first ever car under its new revamped identity. The actor arrived at the venue of the Paris Fashion Week in this concept car and got off from the passenger seat. So it is evident that the Type 00 Concept is in motion ahead of its launch, which is expected to take place sometime later this year.

Unlike the first glance of the Type 00 Concept which was finished in a shade of pink, this prototype sported the French Ultramarine colour. In the videos that have surfaced on social media the French Ultramarine coloured Jaguar Type 00 Concept can be seen driving slowly on the streets of Paris and as it comes to a halt and its butterfly door opens up, we spot Barry Keoghan emerging from the car. What was more interesting was the way the trunk lid slides up, yes you read that right, it slides up to reveal the boot space from which the actor grabs his jacket and leaves.

Another fascinating thing we noticed was that there was no driver in the car, so the Jaguar Type 00 Concept has full autonomous driving capabilities as well. However we are not sure if this feature will be offered initially with the production level model of this car. The Type 00 Concept is based on a EV specific platform and its production version is expected to be offered with an all-electric powertrain which is reported to develop about 986 bhp and can offer a range of up to 692 km on a single charge.
