Jaguar introduced its Type 00 concept car in Monaco this weekend. The electric concept was displayed on a custom-built floating platform near the Mediterranean Sea as part of the lead-up to the city's Formula E race weekend.

Public Viewing Ahead of Formula E Race

The Monaco showcase allowed invited guests to view the Type 00 closely, just as international crowds began arriving in Monte Carlo for Formula E’s high-profile race. The concept model was presented in a paint finish named "French Ultramarine," which Jaguar says was developed by its in-house team using a unique pigment and metallic elements.

Recent Sightings and Appearances

Before the Monaco presentation, the Type 00 had been spotted on the streets of Paris during Fashion Week in early 2025. The concept was seen with various public figures, drawing attention on social media.

Preview of Future Jaguar Design Plans

According to Jaguar, the Type 00 serves as a preview of the company’s upcoming design direction. It had earlier been shown during its global debut at Miami Art Week in December 2024.
Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar, said, "Following Type 00’s European debut at Paris Fashion Week, we’re excited to bring the brand to Monaco, the ideal backdrop to showcase Jaguar’s vision for the future of automotive luxury."
