Lohia Global launched its L5 commercial electric vehicle brand, Youdha, targeting the booming Indian E3W market. Youdha's initial offerings include the E5 Passenger for urban commuting and the E5 Cargo for last-mile delivery. CEO Ayush Lohia emphasized innovation and a legacy of empowering communities. Youdha aims to expand its portfolio to cater to diverse E3W needs, prioritising performance, sustainability, and user convenience. The brand was unveiled at the EV Expo on December 20, 2024.
Lohia Global Unveils Its L5 Commercial And Passenger Electric Auto, Youdha
Lohia Global announced the launch of itss L5 commercial vehicle lineup, Youdha. Youdha, inspired by the word ‘warrior’ addresses the expanding demands of the E3W market.
The electric three-wheeler (E3W) segment accounts for over 40% of India’s total EV sales. In 2023, India sold over 4,00,000 electric three-wheelers, and the market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15% over the next five years.
Youdha’s initial product portfolio will feature L5 electric vehicles, including models like the E5 Passenger and E5 Cargo. The E5 Passenger is tailored for urban and semi-urban commuting, emphasising space and efficiency, while the E5 Cargo offers a reliable and durable solution for last-mile logistics.

Over time, Youdha plans to expand its portfolio to cater exclusively to the diverse needs of the E3W segment. The brand's launch is being showcased at the EV Expo on December 20, 2024, where Youdha will unveil its first portfolio of electric three-wheelers. These vehicles are designed to prioritise performance, sustainability, and user convenience.
The brand aims to solidify its position in the commercial EV segments by focusing on innovation, performance, and reliability to meet the expectations of its target customers.
