Mahindra BE 6 And XEV 9e Electric SUVs Cross 3,000 Units Sales Milestone

Indian automaker Mahindra has today announced that its new age electric SUVs under the ‘Electric Origin SUVs’ identity have crossed a new sales landmark in India. The company revealed that it has achieved this sales feat in under one month of commencing deliveries of these SUVs in the country.

Mahindra has shared that its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs have crossed the 3,000 units sales milestone in the Indian market. These new age all-electric SUVs have achieved this sales landmark in a very short period of time, the company commenced deliveries of these SUVs back on March 20th 2025.

Sharing bookings insights of its all-electric SUVs the company stated that it has received about 49 percent of the bookings for the BE 6 and about 59 percent bookings for the XEV 9e. The company also revealed that at present the waiting period of these SUVs go up to 6 months in some regions of the country. To cater to the rising demand for electric SUV the company is scaling its operations to reduce the waiting period of these SUVs.

The company highlighted that to make the transition of users easier from internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to EVs the company has introduced a new Default mode which offers a driving feel that is similar to that of ICE vehicle.

Currently the Mahindra BE 6 has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 19.40 lakh and the XEV 9e has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 22.40 lakh.
