Design & Features

Built on the MMA platform, the new CLA Shooting Brake measures 4,723 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and 1,469 mm in height. Compared to the regular CLA, it is 35mm longer, 25mm wider and 27mm taller, with a wheelbase extended by 61mm to 2,790mm.
The front gets a black panel embedded with 142 illuminated three-pointed stars, replacing the traditional grille due to the absence of an engine upfront. The roofline stretches into a panoramic glass panel running from the front windshield to the rear spoiler. At the rear, a horizontal LED light strip connects the taillights.
On the inside the cabin adopts the company’s new MB.OS operating system. The dashboard combines a 10.25-inch driver’s display with a 14-inch central touchscreen, while an additional 14-inch passenger screen is available as an option. The system integrates software platforms such as Unity, ChatGPT, Microsoft and Google Gemini, enabling over-the-air updates.
Other interior features include biometric authentication, USB-C charging ports, a 12.2-inch head-up display, heated seats and ambient lighting with 158 illuminated stars embedded in the panoramic roof.
It boasts a boot capacity of 455 litres with rear seats up and expands to 1,290 litres when folded. A 101-litre frunk at the front is also provided, marking a first for the CLA range. Rear headroom is increased by 26mm over the coupe, while legroom rises by 11mm in both rows.

Powertrain & Performance

The electric lineup includes two variants at launch: CLA 250+ and CLA 350 4Matic. Both are powered by an 85 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery pack. The CLA 250+ produces 268 bhp and 335 Nm of torque, achieving 0to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds. The CLA 350 4Matic generates 349 bhp and 515 Nm of torque, completing the 0 to 100 kmph sprint in 5 seconds. Both are electronically limited to 210kmph.

Range & Fast Charging

Driving range is rated at 761km (WLTP) for the CLA 250+ and 730km for the CLA 350 4Matic. Both variants support 320kW DC fast charging, enabling a claimed 310 km of range addition within 10 minutes.
