Oben Electric Opens 10 New Showrooms On Republic Day, Expands Presence Across 22 Locations In India

Oben Electric has inaugurated 10 new showrooms and service centers on January 26, 2025. These new showrooms and service centres are located in Shivajinagar and Dhanakawadi (Pune), Hubballi (Karnataka), Malappuram and Thrissur (Kerala), Adhichini (New Delhi), Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) and in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, Mainpuri, and Budaun.

Oben Electric has now reached over 53 million Indians through 22 showrooms and service centers, in 14 cities and 7 states. This expansion has helped Oben Electric to enter into new markets in Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh while bolstering its network in Karnataka, Kerala, and Maharashtra. The company now operates in 14 cities across 7 states.

The company said that they are planning to open 100 showrooms and service centers across 50 cities by FY 2026. Oben is also aiming to increase its reach in both urban and Tier-2 markets as well.

Oben Electric designs, develops, and manufactures all critical components in-house, including high-performance LFP batteries, motors, fast chargers and vehicle control units.

Oben Electric has gained attention in the electric motorcycle market with its Rorr series. They recently launched Oben Rorr EZ at an introductory price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). The Rorr EZ is available in three battery variants—2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. All the variants of the Rorr EZ boast a top speed of 95 mph while accelerating from 0 to 100 in 3.3 seconds. The company claims that the Rorr EZ has a range of up to 175 km and can be charged up to 80% in 45 minutes.
