Oben Electric To Launch Protect 8/80 Battery Protection Plan From May 1

Additionally, the warranty is also fully transferable for current and future owners. At the core of this move lies Oben’s proprietary high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology, designed, developed, and manufactured in-house to suit the demanding Indian terrain and climate. Unlike Li-NMC batteries, Oben’s LFP battery can withstand up to 50% higher temperature, ensuring high-reliability and optimal performance in extreme conditions. The technological edge enables Oben Electric to back its battery with one of the longest warranty coverages in the commuter segment.

“The introduction of this new battery protect plan reflects our unwavering confidence in our technology and our commitment to ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. It’s our way of ensuring riders, whether new or future owners, experience dependable performance and complete peace of mind every single day,” Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO, Oben Electric, said.
