Skoda Enyaq RS Race Concept: Lighter Structure and Modified Body

The Enyaq RS Race weighs 316 kg less than the standard Enyaq Coupé RS. This reduction is achieved by removing non-essential components and using alternative materials such as polycarbonate for windows and flax fibre-based biocomposites in body and interior parts. These materials were developed in collaboration with Bcomp and used in panels such as bumpers, fenders, roof, and dashboard.

Skoda Enyaq RS Race Concept: Chassis and Handling Adjustments

The concept is lowered by 70 mm and widened by 72 mm at the front and 116 mm at the rear. It retains the dual-motor powertrain delivering 250 kW, similar to the production model, but accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds due to the lighter structure. Skoda has replaced the production car's adaptive suspension with a race-specific system featuring adjustable settings. Limited-slip differentials are fitted on both axles for improved grip.

Skoda Enyaq RS Race Concept: Safety and Interior

For safety, the car is fitted with a roll cage, rally-type racing seats with six-point harnesses, and other elements borrowed from the Fabia RS Rally2. Brake systems have been upgraded with carbon-ceramic discs and multi-piston calipers. The cockpit includes a rally-inspired steering setup, linear steering geometry, and a reworked infotainment interface tailored for race settings.

Skoda Enyaq RS Race Concept: Aerodynamics and Cooling Enhancements

Skoda redesigned several exterior elements to improve airflow and cooling. These include a new rear wing, diffuser, fender vents, and front-end air channels. Protective skids are added beneath the car to safeguard the battery during track use. New wheels and aerodynamic elements also reduce drag and increase stability.

Skoda Enyaq RS Race Concept: Use of Sustainable Technologies

Sixteen parts across the vehicle are built using natural fibre-based materials such as AmpliTex and PowerRibs™. These are intended to test sustainability under racing conditions. Components are made using 3D-printed recycled polymers and bio-based filaments. These efforts aim to explore lower-emission alternatives to conventional composites like carbon fibre.

Skoda Enyaq RS Race Concept: Sound System and In-Cabin Features

The Enyaq RS Race includes a digital sound system developed to simulate an electric racecar tone. This system is more powerful than the one in the production model and is activated above 30 kmph.
