Tesla Model Y Launched in India at Rs 59.89 Lakh; Offers Up to 622 km Range

The Tesla Model Y is priced between Rs 59.89 lakh and Rs 67.89 lakh, making it one of the higher-priced electric SUVs in the Indian market. In comparison, the BYD Sealion 7 starts at Rs 48.90 lakh, while the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 is significantly more expensive at Rs 1.41 crore. This places the Model Y in a competitive segment among premium electric SUVs.

The Tesla Model Y is anticipated to be offered with two battery pack options in India: a 60 kWh and an 81 kWh. These configurations are expected to provide different performance levels and ranges, with the Long Range variant boasting a range of up to 622 km. This aligns with Tesla's emphasis on long-range capabilities in its electric vehicles.
