Mahindra XUV 7XO Variants Explained: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7 and More
Mahindra has introduced the XUV 7XO in India, with prices starting at Rs 13.66 lakh. This model replaces the XUV700 and features design upgrades while maintaining a similar shape, including revised lighting and new alloy wheels. It offers both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations.

Mahindra has launched the XUV 7XO in India with introductory ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 13.66 lakh. The model replaces the XUV700 and adopts the brand’s updated naming approach, similar to the earlier XUV300 to XUV 3XO transition.

Mahindra XUV 7XO: Design and Seating Configuration
The XUV 7XO retains the overall shape of the XUV700 but receives several exterior and interior updates. At the front, it features revised LED daytime running lamps, headlamps, grille and bumper. Quad LED fog lamps are positioned lower on the bumper.
The side profile includes new 19-inch alloy wheels and flush-fitting door handles. At the rear, the SUV gets updated LED tail lamps and a revised bumper. New exterior colour options have also been introduced. Inside, the cabin follows a beige and tan interior theme. The XUV 7XO is offered in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations.
Mahindra XUV 7XO: Engine and Transmission Options
The engine lineup is carried over from the XUV700. The XUV 7XO is available with petrol and diesel engines, both offered with manual and automatic gearboxes.
The petrol version uses a 2.0L, four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 197.13bhp and 380Nm of torque. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The diesel variant is powered by a 2.2L, four-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering 181.03bhp and 450Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is available on select diesel variants.
Mahindra XUV 7XO: Variant Line-up Overview
The XUV 7XO is offered in six variants: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T and AX7L. Petrol prices start at Rs 13.66 lakh, while diesel prices begin at Rs 14.96 lakh. The top-spec diesel AWD AX7L manual variant is priced at Rs 24.92 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
