2025 BMW G 310 RR Teased in India, Launch Expected Ahead of Festive Season

BMW Motorrad India has hinted at the arrival of the updated G 310 RR through a social media teaser. The motorcycle remains the sole product from the BMW-TVS joint venture available in the Indian market. The updated version is expected to arrive ahead of the upcoming festive season.

Likely Mechanical Updates

The G 310 RR shares its platform with the TVS Apache RR 310, which has seen two rounds of upgrades in the past year.
  • In late 2024, TVS added a larger airbox, lighter piston, bigger throttle body, and higher compression ratio, raising power to 38 hp and torque to 29 Nm. A bi-directional quickshifter and cruise control were also introduced.
  • In April 2025, the Apache became OBD2B-compliant and gained launch control and cornering drag torque control.
The BMW G 310 RR currently uses the older version of this setup, making it likely that the next update will bring these improvements.

Possible Design and Feature Additions

The updated model could also receive aerodynamic winglets, a transparent clutch cover, and new 8-spoke alloy wheels that were added to the Apache earlier this year. BMW may also introduce new paint schemes or graphics to differentiate its version.

Current Model Specifications

The G 310 RR on sale today is priced at Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom) and after the GST price reduction will come in affect it will be priced at Rs 2.81 lakh ex-showroom. It uses a 312.12cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that puts out 33.5 bhp and 27.3 Nm in Sport/Track mode. The motorcycle has a top speed of 160 kmph and comes with four riding modes: Sport, Track, Urban and Rain. Features include dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, USD front forks and aluminium wheels.
