2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition Launched in India at Rs 3.99 Lakh

The Indian division of the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457 Special Edition motorcycle in India priced at Rs 3.99 lakh. The Tuono 457 has been launched in the mid-size street naked motorcycle segment in the country. Bookings for the same are now open and can be made at authorised Aprilia dealerships across India.

The 2026 Aprilia Tuono 457 Special Edition pays homage to the 2006 Tuono 1000R motorcycle. The Tuono 457 Special Edition has been introduced in the country in two colour options - Mamba Black and Puma Grey. According to Aprilia, both liveries draw inspiration from the 2006 Tuono 1000R and are complemented by new graphics and a smoked flyscreen.

The motorcycle also receives a number of changes aimed at improving rider comfort. Aprilia has equipped the Special Edition with a taller handlebar, resulting in a more upright riding position compared to the standard model. The bike now also gets adjustable brake and clutch levers, allowing riders to tailor the lever reach according to their preference.

Other notable updates include a revised seat featuring high-resilience foam, which is designed to offer better support during longer rides. The suspension setup has also been reworked with a softer initial stroke for improved bump absorption. Aprilia says the damping characteristics have been recalibrated as part of the update.

The 2026 Tuono 457 Special Edition comes equipped with a 457cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that develops 47.6bhp and 43.5Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Feature highlights remain unchanged and include a TFT instrument console, full-LED lighting and an immobiliser-equipped ignition system. Buyers can also opt for accessories such as a bidirectional quickshifter, tyre pressure monitoring system, USB charger, electronic anti-theft system, fork sliders, passenger seat cover and shorter rear mudguard.
