Engine Updates
Both the Triumph Trident 660 and Triumph Tiger Sport 660 are now powered by an updated 660cc inline three-cylinder engine. Output has increased to 93.7bhp at 11,250 rpm and 68Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. The redline has been raised to 12,650 rpm.
Triumph has made several mechanical changes to achieve this increase, including replacing the single throttle body with three individual 44 mm throttle bodies, one per cylinder. The engine also gets a larger front-mounted airbox, revised cylinder head with larger exhaust valves and a higher-lift camshaft profile. Cooling has been improved with a larger radiator and fan.
The exhaust system has been revised with a 3-into-1 header layout, a new catalyst and an underslung silencer. The six-speed gearbox now uses updated shafts, revised ratios and a recalibrated quickshifter. A slip-and-assist clutch is also standard.
Chassis and Suspension
Both motorcycles continue to use a steel frame, which has been revised to accommodate the updated engine. The Trident 660 now gets a new Showa rear suspension unit with preload and rebound adjustment, paired with 41 mm Showa USD front forks. Suspension travel stands at 120 mm at the front and 130 mm at the rear.
The Tiger Sport 660 retains Showa suspension at both ends, with 150 mm of travel front and rear. The rear monoshock features remote preload adjustment for riding with a passenger or luggage. Braking hardware remains unchanged on both bikes, with twin 310 mm front discs and Nissin calipers, supported by cornering ABS.
Design and Bodywork Changes
The Trident 660 receives updated body panels, a reshaped fuel tank and revised seat design. Handlebar width has been increased slightly to change rider leverage. New colour options include Cosmic Yellow, Stone Grey and Snowdonia White.
The Tiger Sport 660 gets new bodywork around the front end, revised radiator cowls and a larger 18.6-litre fuel tank, up from the previous model. Colour options include Interstellar Blue with Mineral Grey, Silver Ice with Intense Orange and Pure White.
Technology and Equipment
Both motorcycles are equipped with ride-by-wire throttle and three riding modes: Road, Sport and Rain. A six-axis IMU enables cornering ABS and traction control. Cruise control and bidirectional quickshifter are standard.
Instrumentation consists of a TFT display paired with an LCD screen. Bluetooth-based MyTriumph connectivity supports navigation, calls and music. Full LED lighting is standard across both models.
Dimensions and Weight
The Trident 660 has a seat height of 810 mm and a wet weight of 195 kg. The Tiger Sport 660 weighs 211 kg (wet) and offers a low seat height, with optional seats available to reduce it further.
